The rooms here are air-conditioned and brand-new with marble-lined bathrooms, and the service is exceptional.

A beautifully designed hotel,lovely gardens,excellent service-and the wonderful Mariana who could not have done more to make my stay so enjoyable.

Lighting in the room was very poor.The bath room was poorly designed.

The rooms at Arts In Hotel Conde Carvalhal are air-conditioned and contemporary with a large terrace. They include all comforts such as a microwave, electric kettle, and refrigerator, making it a comfortable base for a longer stay. 

Very nice room, spacy and well designed, perfect beds and bathroom. Very nice people at the reception. Good location slose to the center and quiet. Parking is great as well.

Verry friendly and helpful staff. There is a verry nice garden with a fantastic view to the ocean and harbour.

The only one little negativ point is the internet connection. It would be good, if wifi is availible in each room.

The breakfast served here is delicious, made with local ingredients sourced from nearby supermarkets.

No saucepans in the kitchen if I had wanted to cook. No wi-fi as had been advertised, but as it was only a week after the floods they said they'd been having problems so didn't mind too much. Was able to pick up a wi-fi connection from elsewhere if I sat close to the window!

Good views over Funchal Harbour from the terraces, lovely location for watching Saturday evening fireworks in June. There was open access to lounges and dining areas in the old part of the building. The rooms were kept 

The room we stayed in was a good size, plus we had a terrace, which was a nice touch. the place was really clean and the staff were so helpful and knew their stuff. 😊

The hotel is nestled in the hills of Funchal, very accessible to the center city (15 min. Walk from the sea) and yet in a quiet residential area. Beautiful gardens!

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient.On bus route.Close to old town.On Bus routes.

Difficult to find .Walk back up from Old Town hard work suggest using the local Bus.

I thoroughly enjoyed this very peaceful and nicely decorated hotel. The beds were incredibly large, I slept well. The staff was very attentive and provided perfect services.
