The views from my room were breathtaking, overlooking Funchal and the sea. Enjoying breakfast in the garden was a lovely start to each day. The selection offered was impressive with fresh juices, pastries, and various cooked options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kept the atmosphere relaxed. My room had a spacious layout with a kitchenette and a comfortable bed. Although the uphill walk from the city center felt challenging after long days out, it offered a peaceful retreat. The indoor parking was convenient but a bit tight, especially when the hotel was full. Air conditioning in the room could use some soundproofing as it was a little noisy at times. These drawbacks didn't overshadow the wonderful experience overall.

The steep and winding road to the hotel is a hassle!!! The lack of coffee/tea making facilities included in the room is quite disappointing!!! Good luck finding the art gallery advertised, as it feels more like a missed opportunity than a unique feature!!!

Had a fantastic time at Arts In! The staff really made us feel at home, and the view from our room was just stunning. Breakfast in the lovely garden was a highlight, with fresh local fruits and a great variety. Just a bit of wear and tear in spots, but overall, a gem!

Just a prime choice for a weekend respite in Funchal with exceptional value. The shower had fantastic pressure, making it refreshing after a long day exploring. Be sure to visit the local supermarket for cheaper snacks and drinks.

i had a wonderful 11 nights at arts in hotel Conde Carvalhal. it has a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. the breakfast ladies were charming, and it felt great to enjoy cake each morning. the location is perfect,

Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with fresh juices and pastries. The gardens were beautiful and well-kept. Enjoyed a foot massage in the spa. Perfect base for exploring Funchal!

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend jaunt

Charming setting, attentive staff, spacious room with a kitchenette and flat-screen TV, complemented by easy access to public transport that makes exploring the area a breeze.

The room was very comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and a safe, and there were many delicious local food options available for meals.

The hotel is excellent value for the money. The staff are very willing to help with any queries. The lounge area is very pleasant and the honesty bar a nice touch.

Its a pity that because of the residential area the hotel is in there is some disturbance from dogs barking. However after seeing the 'Hotel zone area' we much preferred this hotels location.

The rooms are good sized with terrace and the staff are exceptional.
