Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff were remarkable. The room was clean and quiet. I could not possibly want anymore for the price paid. I can boldly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants peace 

This place is a cozy spot for a long stay. the staff here really go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Lacking of toilet paper eventhough the cleaner came everyday, After the room was cleaned, there was dirt everywhere, they didn.t change the towels even though they were lying on the ground, they just picket them up and hang them to the wall. There wasn.t any opportunities to eat what so ever. You woke up every morning for the barking of 10 dogs outside so the windows wasn.t sound proof at all. When I needed the staff to call me a taxi to the hotel, I had to wait any staff to show up for a half an hour. When I came to the hotel after 9 O.clock, there wasnt any lights on and you couldn.t turn the lights on anywhere so it was like arriving to a dark hallway and it was hard to find the key hole.

Nicely appointed hotel with flawless service and perfect location so close to the waterfront on foot as well as Old Town and Santa Maria restaurants and bars. Very attentive and thoughtful staff always on hand.

The Molhe Hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the centre of Funchal -quite steep coming back but the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable with a kitchenette if you feel like self catering. The staff were extremely

Very comfortable and spacious apartment in a residential part of Funchal just north of the old town. Highly recommended.
